Suminagashi: Japanese Paper Marbling

Suminagashi means “ink floating on water,” and is the Japanese form of paper marbling. Pulp Painting

Why make pictures with paint when you can paint with paper pulp? The process of pulp painting creates images that don't sit on the page, but are the page.
