Barbara "Scout" Ery is a visual artist and educator. She received a BFA in Photography from Ohio University, and later received a Masters of Art Education from the University of Central Florida. Her artwork is currently being showed at the Sharon Weiss Gallery in Columbus, Ohio. She resides in Athens, OH and has embraced the beauty of living, creating and thriving in Appalachia.
