Concentric, amoeba-like forms play off one another in "Acclimate," a piece by Chad Hayward.  A ground of black, ultramarine, and dark purple splotches pushes the amoeba-like shapes forward within a ovular shape hung in portrait orientation.  The largest shape gradates from a midtoned layer of blue, oceanic dots through other shades to light, sky blue.  Other shapes with layers of cerulean blue and ocean green overlap from either side, popping out the concentric shapes of salmon dots encroaching from above,
