Artist Name
Ziya Tarapore
Art Image
This piece is a long, rectangular strip of predominantly blue, purple, and pink paper made from banana leaf pulp. The blue and purple side is speckled and looks almost like water droplets.

"With no access to my paper studio, I resorted to innovation. Making a mold and deckle from an old canvas, producing waste paper pulp to combine with Banana leaf pulp taken from my houseplants, and mono printing surface textures on the resulting paper."
