The petal-fold book technique combines book binding with origami to create a book that blooms, or unfolds, as it opens. The book has decorative, paper-wrapped tag board covers, 8 origami-folded pages with a ribbon binding and closure. Join us to learn this beautiful book-binding technique. Explore the art of hand-made books, which make great journals or sketchbooks! Learn how to make a decorative Japanese stab-style book binding in this workshop. This binding style consists of a soft cover and exposed spine — sewn together in a simple pattern, requiring no folding or glue.
