This fascinating piece by June Burden plays with the wide range of abaca and flax shades, as well as their highly unique textures.
Artist's Statement:
"These 'patchwork squares' were mostly made from overeaten abaca and flax scraps. The papers had been air-dried, usually without any restraints. I glued them together with Golden's Heavy Gel medium. Hope you enjoy!"
