Museum Opening Update

Thursday, May 27, 2021

Effective immediately, the Robert C. Williams Museum of Papermaking will no longer request reservations be made for individuals to visit the museum. Groups of 10 or more are still required to book a fee-based program.

Per Georgia Tech guidelines, self-guided visitors who have not received a COVID-19 vaccine are strongly encouraged to wear a mask while visiting the museum. Hand sanitizer is available in the lobby for all to use.

Georgia Tech has lifted capacity restrictions for many situations on campus, including non-academic activities which include museum programs and visits. In compliance with this decision, the museum will return to general visitation operation standards that were in effect prior to the shut-down. For tours and in-person workshops in summer 2021, capacity will be limited to 24 participants, with a maximum of 12 in the classroom.
