Program Description:
Ever wondered about the process of printmaking or block printing? Join Tech’s Tactile Thursday workshop with guest artist Jasmin Warnock where participants will come together to create a large-scale collaborative community garden relief print. This workshop will be a part of the ImagiNATION Arts and Culture Festival with Georgia Tech Arts.
During the workshop participants will be briefly introduced to relief printmaking techniques, ink application on the block, and proper hand pressing methods. Pre-carved and pre-cut blocks will be provided, as participants will be focused on layering and creating a textured surface to emulate an expressive community garden. All materials provided.
