Cobwebs of scribbled maroon lines coalesce to form two tower structures with pointed rooftops in this piece, "The Strong & the Stable" by Lea Basile-Lazarus. One tower is tall and thin, the other tower abuts it, its lines leaning against from slightly behind and to the right. A conspicuous sea-green box situates itself in the lower-left corner of the sheet. It contains stencils of three similar tower shapes, one white and two black. Light yellow, purple, white, and blue color washes through the backgrou

Three white towers with pointed rooftops rise amid the crash of background imagery in the piece "Who Are They" by Lea Basile-Lazarus. An accordion book with seven house-shaped pages of varying heights ascending from smallest to largest at the center and then descending back to smallest. The pulp paintings mounted on covered boards are connected by a strip of golden brown paper. The pulp paintings speckled sheets that are predominately pink with small bits of black, red, green, and blue. Though the piece is double-sided the image shows only a single view.

An amorphous puke-green blob like a rotten egg with a dark green yolk puzzles the viewer. The blob is bespeckled by equally-sized dots of color that combine to form a vivid-though-jarring cellular shape. Middle-valued pink dots haphazardly surround the dark green nucleus which is covered with violet, light-green, red, and black dots. The body of the cell is punctuated by similarly sized dots of bright yellow, purple, black, and brown, with a broken procession of red dots along the seemingly-random shape

A sharp, off-kilter black line offset with a hint of red over a dark gray field divides the bottom third of "The Wall Between Them" from the the lighter, more-stately upper section in this work by Lea Basile-Lazarus. A warm-gray structure of small rectangles builds upward, losing shape and dissolving into a white and yellow cloud. Beneath the line is a muddled ground of murky yellow. The warm gray structure remains but is separated from the airy top portion of the page by the starkness of the line.

Two dark grey scratchy lines arc from the bottom left and right corners of the composition to intersect just below the center of the page. The arcs create a pointed dome or tent shape in the bottom half of the page. There are lines that crisscross the image in an unpredictable frantic mark making throughout the image. There are overwhelming tones of grey, gold, and white.
