Small blue and black and pink house-like shapes assemble to form a quasi-neighborhood in the lower-left corner of "The Unusuals," a diptych by Lea Basile-Lazarus.  Between this family of shapes and a splotchy, orange background lie the scratchy blue and red outlines of larger house-like drawings that tower over the other structures.  A solid black tower and a pink tower look on from the lower-left foreground.

Incursion is an oval shaped sheet of paper with a turquoise edge with large white and light blue dots. Inside the circle of the border, light blue and dark blue dots surround a field of pink dots that are arranged in a gradation from dark pink to white near the center of the page. The focal point of the page is a dark pink spot with three lines of blue dots at its edge and a large white dot at its center. A blue dot appears above and below the central pink circle.
