Program Description:
Join us for this workshop to explore an early type of camera-less photography called a cyanotype. Use paper pre-coated with a mixture of chemicals, the power of the sun, and plants to create your own. After making an individual cyanotype participants will work together to make a large group piece. Participants will also learn about the history of cyanotypes from the technique’s invention, its first photographic use, to paper artists who create beautiful pieces of artwork in this style. All materials provided.
This workshop is for Georgia Tech Students, Staff, and Faculty. Located in the Wilby Room, G-120, in Crosland Tower by Blue Donkey Coffee
